Victoria Beggs, RD
Victoria obtained a Bachelor of Science Honors Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics (2013), Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology (2014) and a Masters of Arts degree in Kinesiology Management and Leadership Coaching (2016) at the University of Western Ontario (UWO).
Victoria completed her Dietetic Internship in the Ottawa area where she gained extensive nutrition consulting experience working with diverse population groups and individuals with a wide array of nutrition needs.
Victoria works with her clients to understand their connection with food and health, and then uses this approach to develop individualized action plans towards adopting lifelong healthy behaviours.
Victoria is committed and dedicated to living a healthy balanced lifestyle herself as well as motivating and supporting the goals of others in attaining optimal performance, health and well-being.
A fitness enthusiast, former university varsity athlete and coach in rowing, Victoria incorporates her passion and expertise in nutrition, physical fitness and coaching into her counseling. When Victoria is not out being active, spending time with family and her cat Calico, she enjoys continuing her education in nutrition, personal training, behaviour change, and personal growth and reflection.
Victoria is a member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO).
Initial Nutrition Assessment
This is for individuals who want to focus on their nutrition concerns with a Registered Dietitian. This assessment includes dietary, lifestyle and medical questions that will be important in guiding and developing individualized nutrition action plans.
Nutrition Assessment Plus:
Available for individuals who want a detailed scientific analysis of their current eating patterns and to learn how to manage caloric intake to meet their personal nutrient needs.

In depth analysis of current eating patterns (3 days analyzed)
Comparison of your nutritional intake with Recommended Daily Allowances (RDAs) highlighting if your diet is providing too much or too little of a particular nutrient (carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals, water, caffeine, omega-3’s, alcohol, cholesterol and fibre) using Esha Research Food Processor Nutrition Analysis Software
Resources and guidance provided to suggest food sources that supply nutrients found to be low
Energy budgeting consultation (30 min) with the Dietitian to review and develop a plan that will ensure you are getting appropriate macronutrients, micronutrients, fluid and calorie intake based on your age, weight, height, gender, health conditions, and activity level. This meal plan will be your guide for choosing meal and snack choices.
Follow-up Nutrition Consultations
Available for clients who have completed an initial nutrition assessment and want to work through their individualized nutrition action plans (dietary strategies, meal planning, label reading, food preparation skills etc.) with a Registered Dietitian.
